Accreditation Disclaimer

Effective Date: September 15, 2025
Last Updated: September 15, 2025

International Legal Academy Ltd (“ILA”) provides accreditation services to law firms, legal training centers, and academic institutions under strict standards and defined scopes. This Accreditation Disclaimer clarifies the limitations and permitted uses of ILA accreditation and prevents any misrepresentation or misuse of our brand.

1. Scope of Accreditation

ILA accreditation is exclusively granted to:

  • Law firms offering legal training to internal staff and legal professionals (e.g., lawyers, paralegals, legal consultants)

  • Legal training centers and universities delivering structured legal education aligned with ILA’s criteria

  • Certified trainers who deliver courses approved under the ILA framework

Accreditation does not extend to:

  • Public sector entities, government agencies, or corporations unless formally approved under a separate agreement

  • Non-legal training programs

  • Self-promotional or marketing campaigns unrelated to legal education

2. Use of ILA Accreditation Logo & Title

Organizations or individuals accredited by ILA are permitted to:

✅ Display the ILA accreditation logo on their website and promotional materials
✅ Mention ILA accreditation status in course brochures and official documents
✅ Issue ILA-recognized certificates only for programs reviewed and approved by ILA

They are not permitted to:

❌ Use the ILA name or logo in a way that suggests full institutional endorsement outside the agreed training programs
❌ Accredit other institutions or programs under the ILA name
❌ Deliver training outside the legal profession (e.g., corporate HR or general business training) using the ILA accreditation mark unless specifically authorized

3. For Accredited Law Firms

Law firms receiving accreditation:

  • Must only deliver legal training for professionals such as lawyers, legal officers, paralegals, or legal students

  • Are not authorized to use ILA accreditation for training universities, corporations, or public institutions unless an additional agreement is in place

  • Must submit periodic reports and comply with ILA quality audits

Any breach of these conditions may result in revocation of accreditation.

4. Non-Endorsement Clause

ILA accreditation signifies that the accredited entity has met specific legal training standards. It does not imply:

  • That ILA endorses all services, business practices, or legal opinions of the accredited entity

  • That ILA is liable for the training outcomes or employment impact of the accredited entity’s programs

  • That ILA certification guarantees government or bar recognition in any jurisdiction (accreditation is for private, professional development purposes)

5. Misuse and Consequences

Any misrepresentation of ILA accreditation—including false claims, improper use of logos, or delivery of unauthorized training—will lead to:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of accreditation

  • Legal action if the misuse damages ILA’s brand or misleads stakeholders

  • Public removal from the list of certified or accredited institutions
